For as long as I can remember, teaching has been my true calling. I started off in the finance sector, and spent seven years doing something that gave me a paycheque but no happiness. Finally, one day, after years of sitting on an idle teaching degree because I had no idea how to change careers with bills to pay and a child in daycare, my husband convinced me that enough was enough. I took the plunge and dove in head first. Over the past ten years, I have dedicated my time, energy, and passion to shaping the minds of students, and most recently, of middle school students. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the transformative power of education and experienced firsthand the incredible growth that can occur during these formative years.
During my journey as an educator, I have faced numerous challenges and sought innovative solutions to enhance my teaching practices.
